How To Play

Starting the Game

Use the "New Puzzle" button to start working on a new puzzle.

If you were previously working on a puzzle and you want to continue it, just tap on the "Continued Saved" button.

The "Instructions" will give you basic information on how to play in case you forget.

Select the Puzzle

You can change how many tiles are in the puzzle by clicking on the up/down arrows to the right of the text "Puzzle Size". The size can go from 3x3 all the way up to 10x10!

You can change the photo by using the similar arrows to the right of the text "Photo". As you select the photos, the name will change to match the current photo and the photo in the background will change.

Once you have decided on a photo and size, click on "Start" to begin the game.

Solving the Puzzle

The "black tile" is a hole in the puzzle, and will always end up at the very bottom/right of the picture when you have solved the puzzle. The "black tile" also shows you how long you have worked on this puzzle. Pick a tile next to the "black tile". You can either drag the tile to the new position (where the "black tile" was) or you can "tap" on the tile and it will move automatically.

Your best time for solving each size of puzzle is recorded, so you can try to beat your last score.

You can turn the grid around the photos on/off. Also, you can turn on numbers for the tiles. This will "number" all the tiles and show you the correct ordering of the tiles (starting at the top left is #1, to the right of that is #2, and so on, and so on) This will help to figure out in which order to place the tiles. If you turn the numbers on, the clock will speed up. You will be able to get a faster time without using the "numbers on", but sometimes you need a little help.

Here are the menus you can use while playing the game.

[buzzword bingo] BuzzWord Bingo is based on a Dilbert Comic strip. Instead of using normal bingo squares (like B1, I17, G43, etc.) you use BuzzWords. You can play during meetings at work. If your boss (or the person speaking) uses a BuzzWord on your "card", you check it off. The objective is to fill an entire row (just like normal Bingo). When you win -- shout BINGO! [more info...]
